Let the journey begin

Welcome to our blog! This is our first blog entry. My hope is that this will be a way for us to document our journey as we expand from a family of 4 to a family of 6. We wanted a place to record our thoughts, prayers, concerns, and desires for our growing family. I am 31 weeks pregnant with twins and my ever expanding waistline is just the beginning of changes for our family.

We have had a wonderful summer together trying to soak up as much time with the kids before the twins arrive. This is our final week before school starts and we’ve spent lots of time by the pool, playing with friends, going to the movies, and shopping for last minute school items. Enjoy some pictures from our fun filled week.

  1. Welcome to the world of blogging! I love the pictures of P&G and your introduction. PLEASE share the info on how to turn a blog into a book. I was really hoping that someone would figure that out one day....(see? you already have a topic for your next post!)

  2. Howdy Angry,

It's nice meeting ya and your lovely family!

Blogging is fun and it's certainly a way to record thought and always have them. I Like it much better than social networking...cause it's more meaning....

Anyway...like I told Hat Chick....I'd be angry too if I were 31 weeks pregnant in August. Yikes!! My last child (I have 5) was born early September. I went through August in Georgia heat waves in an old farm house where the AC struggled to keep up. My bedroom had 4 fans, one in each corner, and I took naps in the afternoon with all 4 blowing to the center where my bed was....I was a very angry, fat, swollen, sweaty pregnant mama!!

    You already have my admiration!

Good meeting ya! I'll be back soon....

Come on over to my place and see what life is like raising 5 kiddo's in another culture!

    God Bless You!
